Concerts, Meetings and Simple Special Events

Pricing includes the use of the Draylen Mason Music Studio for a performance, concert or recital, and the ancillary space for use as a lobby for guests. Events that include additional elements beyond the presentation of a performance (such as food and beverage) are not eligible for this pricing.

Event Space Included: Draylen Mason Music Studio, Green Room, Coltman Shay Reception Lobby, Edith Fowlkes Terrace, Kuglen Entrance Lobby & the Georgia B. Lucas Entrance Patio.

Recording

& Rehearsals

Pricing for recording or rehearsals is based on an eight-hour
block of overall time where there is no audience. Technical support staff is not included in pricing and can be contracted separately.

$150 per hour

Pricing is hourly and must factor in time for set up and clean up.
There is a two-hour minimum. Lobby space is included but may
be shared space with events in the Draylen Mason Music Studio.

Client must bring their own microphones, cables, and a pre-approved recording engineer.

Projection Package #01
  • Access to Draylen Mason Music Studio Control Room
  • Use of Mac Studio equipped with QLab software
  • Use of projection system via QLab software
    ○ Blended Optoma Projectors
    ○ Large Epson Projector
  • Simple media projection will be facilitated by a KMFA Manager on Duty
    ○ “Simple media” includes video playback with audio, static images like logos, and slideshow presentations

$200 Flat Fee

Audio Recording Package #02
  • Access to Draylen Mason Music Studio Control Room
  • Use of mixing board
  • Use of iMac equipped with Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and Reaper
  • Access to microphone closet
  • Dedicated KMFA Recording Engineer or a client-contracted recording engineer

$100/hour rate will be a separate invoice with the assigned recording engineer. Subject to staffing availability.

$200 Flat Fee + $100/Hour Rate

Projection Package #02
  • Access to Draylen Mason Music Studio Control RooM
  • Use of Mac Studio equipped with QLab software
  • Use of projection system via QLab software
    ○ Blended Optoma Projectors
    ○ Large Epson Projector
  • Advanced projections with dedicated projectionist
    ○ Includes a custom QLab project with specified timings
    ○ Projections triggered by projectionist and a client-supplied cue sheet

$100/hour rate will be a separate invoice with the assigned projectionist. Subject to staffing availability.

$200 Flat Fee + $100/Hour Rate

Video Recording/Streaming Package
  • Access to Draylen Mason Music Studio Control Room
  • Permission to use listed equipment:
    – Mac Studio equipped with OBS
    – 3 built-in cameras
    – Mixing board
    – Decca Tree microphone configuration

Client must provide their own livestream engineer who must be pre-approved by KMFA’s Event staff.

$200 Flat Fee

Advanced Lighting Package
  • Access to Draylen Mason Music Studio Control Room
  • Refocusing lights to desired positioning
  • Permission to use listed equipment:
    – ChamSys Lighting Control Board
    – Preset lighting templates
    – Internal Cueing provided by the assigned Manager on Duty

Client may hire an external lighting designer if desired at their own expense
but must be pre-approved by KMFA’s Event staff.
